Throwing on the wheel is a ceramics process that involves molding clay into various shapes using a spinning potters wheel. Wheel throwing workshops focus on learning how to throw on the wheel in a small group setting. We will delve into how to center the clay, how to shape several forms, and how to finish off a piece. Each person will finish the two hour workshop with two of their own wheel thrown peices.
