Intro to the Wheel
Wheel throwing is a fundamental technique in ceramics that allows artisans to create symmetrical and functional pieces. For those interested in exploring this craft, our two-hour introductory workshops provide an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of throwing on the wheel in a small group setting. These workshops are designed for beginners and offer hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced instructors.By the end of the workshop, participants will have created two of their own unique ceramic pieces, which can be taken home as a tangible reminder of their experience after a two week glazing and firing window.
